“X-Games 16 saw the first ever sportbike freestyle demo in the rebelliously orphan sporting event. While reps from ever major brand and TV network in the country and extreme sports fans meandered through the event space they could enjoy the smoke, noise and one-wheeled spectacle that is stunting today.
A select group of dedicated competitive riders from all over the country enjoyed the privilege of hitting the pavement for a few minutes to rip at the one and only X-Games. The show ran on a modified XDL schedule with events like FMF Cup, Sartso Women’s Cup, Aprilia Challenge and Sickest Trick. Each rider set out on the field to perform their most crowd pleasing tricks to paint a picture of the sport today and the potential of the sport tomorrow.”
